The Sulo Hotel is undoubtedly the pioneering business hotel established south of Manila and founded in 1967, by Modesto and Trinidad Diaz-Enriquez. Since its renovation in 1993, its room and facilities were expanded to answer the need of the fast growing government offices, including the legislative building known as the Batasan ng Pambansa, as well as other progressive government establishments, such as the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Quezon City Hall, Social Security System, Central Bank of the Philippines security complex, Philippine Heart Center and the University of the Philippines.
